It is very important to replace your cambelt according to manufacturers’ recommendations. Failing to do so can lead to very expensive damage to your engine.

From experience, at Louth Volks World we have found that most cambelt failures are not caused by the belt itself, but by the failure of bearings in water pumps, guides, and tensioners. This is why when we carry out a cambelt change we use a full genuine kit; including water pump and Volkswagen long-life antifreeze.
